Abortion Access Now statement in response to a second Trump Administration

“We know that millions of Americans voted in favor of putting our healthcare decisions — including abortion care — back in our own hands. Most states that considered ballot initiatives protecting or expanding abortion rights approved them. Seventy percent of people believe that abortion should be legal in all or most cases. 

And an even wider margin of Black, AAPI and Latina/x women strongly agree that legal abortion is incomplete without measures to ensure that all people can access abortion care, no matter where they live, where they come from or how much money they have. 

Abortion Access Now was created for this moment, and we are committed to protecting reproductive freedom and justice. We’re here to send a message that the fight is not over. We will keep pushing forward until everyone has access to the care they need.”
